La Fiorita 1999 Brunello di Montalcino:
Deep red-ruby. Warm, inviting aromas of redcurrant, black raspberry,
espresso, graphite, marzipan and dried flowers. Lush, sweet and round,
with concentrated, ripe flavours of cherry, berries, tobacco and smoke
nicely firmed by harmonious acidity. Fleshy. Structured Brunello, finishing
with very fine tannins, excellent persistence and a late note of leather.

La Fiorita 1997 Brunello di Montalcino :
Very dark garnet with ruby highlights. Explosive aromas of underbrush,
tobacco, tar and black pepper. A flavor of blackberry fruit mingles
with a pungent dose of porcini mushroom and roasted coffee beans. Lushly
textured and dense but also fresh and focused, with full but pliant
tannins. Sweet dark berries emerge on the long finish. A compelling,
polished, multidimensional wine, with loads of extract. 97"
